Kamloops RCMP cruiser involved in downtown crash

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops RCMP cruiser was involved in a crash downtown this afternoon.

The crash took place at about 3:30 p.m., at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Seymour Street.

Kamloops RCMP Corporal Cheryl Bush told CFJC Today, "What I can tell you at this point in time is that the officer, as well some of the people in the [other] vehicle are being treated for non-life threatening injuries."

Bush adds the crash is still under investigation.
