KAMLOOPS —  The B.C. Green Party is expected to name Dan Hines as their candidate for the Kamloops-North Thompson riding at a news conference this morning.

Hines, an Anglican Church minister and facilitator, has been mooted as the potential candidate for some time. He would join Barb Nederpel for the NDP, and Peter Kerek for the Communist Party as candidates who have already announced.

The Liberals aren’t expected to name their candidate until mid to late November. Three people have announced they are seeking that nomination.
