Balcers fitting in with Blazers

KAMLOOPS — The Canadian Hockey League import draft can be a hit and miss.

The Blazers have had some good hits over the years —- from Konstantin Panov to the Finnish Flash Juuso Puustinen —- also a few that have been a miss.

It looks like they’ve hit the jackpot again with their latest import draft pick —- the first time the Blazers have ever had a player from Latvia on their team.
