Blazers pumped for season opener against the Rockets

KAMLOOPS — It’s been 172 days since the Blazers played their last meaningful game —- a game seven overtime playoff loss to the Kelowna Rockets last April 4.

As the curtain goes up on a brand new season at the Sandman  Centre, it starts the same way the last one ended —– against Kelowna.

The first game of a new season is always an exciting time.

Expectations are higher, the bar has been raised higher than it’s been in recent seasons.

That adds to the excitement for the players, the coaches and the training staff.
