KAMLOOPS — Tourism Kamloops has pitched a bold new vision to City Council.

The group unveiled its 5-year strategy initiative to council yesterday afternoon. CEO Beverly De Santis outlined the plan, which will provide a new brand awareness that will provide consistency to the city’s tourism initiatives and develop new strategies to promote visits to the area.

De Santis says they really want to work to develop more visitors in the off peak seasons. Part of the initiative will be to develop a tourism master plan to provide consistent development of strategies over the five-year period.
