Blazers lose final preseason game

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers were shut out 4-0 in Prince George for their final preseason game Friday night.

The game was scoreless until late in the second period when the Cougars’ Colby McAuley got one past Carter Phair on the power play. 

The Cougars would go on to score three times in the third period, ensuring the win.

The 2016/2017 regular season begins at home for the Blazers on Saturday, Sep 23 when they take on the Kelowna Rockets. Game time is 7 p.m. at Sandman Centre.
