Arraignment delayed for accused in baseball bat beating

KAMLOOPS — Arraignment has been delayed for the man accused in a brutal baseball bat beating in Brocklehurst.

39 year old Kristopher Teichrieb is charged with attempted murder.

19 year old Jessie Simpson remains in hospital.

Teichrieb is alleged to have chased Simpson off his Clifford Ave. property in the early morning hours of June 19, before assaulting him with a baseball bat.

In BC provincial court this morning, Teichrieb's arraignment was put over to October 13.
