KAMLOOPS — Former Tobiano developer Michael Grenier is throwing his hat in what appears to be a crowded political ring.

Grenier is expected to announce tomorrow that he will run for the BC Liberal nomination in Kamloops-North Thompson ahead of next spring's provincial election.

The Sun Peaks resident has a news conference scheduled for tomorrow morning at the Kamloops Airport.

Grenier would be the third candidate for the nomination to succeed Terry Lake, joining Steven Puhallo and Peter Milobar.

When asked by CFJC News, Grenier wouldn't confirm the specifics, but said it "wouldn't be unfair" to speculate that tomorrow's announcement will be political in nature.

In a bio sent out to local media, Grenier mentioned he is a member of the BC Liberal party and federal Conservative Party of Canada.
