Charges approved against Kamloops man caught in Creep Hunters sting

VICTORIA — BC’s Criminal Justice Branch has announced the approval of four charges against the former Kamloops sheriff caught in a Kelowna Creep Hunters sting.

Charges against former Deputy Sheriff Kevin Johnston include three counts of communicating with a person believed to be underage for the purpose of facilitating a sexual offence, and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

The alleged offences took place between August 8 and August 27.
