False alarm suspected in report of downed hang glider

KAMLOOPS — A report last night of a possible downed hang glider appears to have been a false alarm. Or at least, searchers have been unable to find any trace of a downed glider.

Kamloops Fire and Rescue, Paramedics and Police were joined by Kamloops Search and Rescue last night after a report of a hang glider going down off Mount Paul.  

Searches turned up no evidence of anyone down, and the search was eventually called off.

It’s possible crews may make another sweep of the area this morning when they can see the area better.
