Team BC prepares for 2017 North America Indigenous Games

KAMLOOPS — In 2017 the North American Indigenous Games will take place in Toronto.
It’s a gathering of First Nations, Metis and Inuit youth from across the continent.
Not only to compete, but to share their traditional culture with athletes whose ancestors were here before European colonization took place.
One of the events will be lacrosse, a sport which was originated by the Iroquois people, and is now popular all over North America.
