KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops woman has admitted to killing her newborn son nearly five years ago.

A BC provincial court preliminary inquiry into the infanticide charge against Courtney Fawn Saul ended abruptly yesterday when Saul changed her plea to guilty.

In December of 2011, Saul killed her son George Carlos, just a few hours after he was born.

The woman was initially charged with murder, but had the charge reduced to infanticide earlier this year.
