Promise of national inquiry giving hope to Aboriginal women

KAMLOOPS — Wednesday's historic announcement by the Liberal government of a national inquiry into missing and murdered women is gaining applause all across the country.

The inquiry, which is scheduled to launch September 1, will try to find answers for those who have lost loved ones. CFJC Today caught up with two Kamloops women who just returned home from Ottawa after being part of the announcement.
