Attempted robbery suspect sought by Kamloops RCMP

KAMLOOPS — Police are on the lookout for a suspect who attempted to steal a wallet while brandishing a knife. 

The attempted robbery took place at 1:40pm in the Campbell Creek area. 

A construction worker who was alone at the time was approached by a suspect who was carrying a three-to-four inch knife.

The worker informed the suspect that his wallet was in his vehicle, and shortly after that the suspect fled.

Suspect description: 

  • Height: 5'5"
  • Hair: Blonde
  • Wearing: Black ball cap, black shirt, and jeans
  • In general, he appeared to be very dirty, with a scruffy beard
