KAMLOOPS — The severe thunderstorm watch that was issued yesterday for parts of the Interior is being continued this morning.

Environment Canada says we could experience thunderstorms at various times of the day.

The main concern today is for pockets of heavy rain, which could cause a lot of water on the road, leading to accidents for motorists travelling too quickly.

While wind and even hail are always a concern when these conditions approach, Environment Canada says today, the focus is more on the rain.
