Guns seized after incident on Coquihalla

MERRITT  —  RCMP have a 44-year old man in custody and have recovered a number of firearms after an incident on the Coquihalla near Merritt. Police attending the scene found six firearms in the vehicle, and have arrested the 44-year old. He is expected to face a number of charges.

Police say they had reports of an erratic driver and an attempted hit and run. Apparently the man was detained at the scene by a witness.
