KAMLOOPS — It's a very lucky day for a motorcyclist, after being involved in a collision with another vehicle just east of the city, and when you consider the other vehicle was a motorhome the rider was lucky to escape unharmed.

The collision occurred on the off-ramp of the East Trans Canada Highway, near Kokanee Way just after 3:00 this afternoon (July 20).

While it's unclear what led to the collision, the driver of the motorcycle literally walked away with minor injuries.

The motorhome's front bumper took the brunt of the impact.

It's not believed anyone inside the motorhome was injured.
