PENTICTON, B.C. — Premier Christy Clark and local MLA Dan Aston oversaw the groundbreaking of the new patient care tower and parkade at the Penticton Regional Hospital today.

The last major addition, to the hospital that was opened in 1951, was 25 years ago.

The new tower will add nearly 282-thousand square feet of space bringing outpatient care services into one building, adding five modern operating rooms, tripling the size of the medical device reprocessing/sterilization unit and adding three floors of single-occupancy inpatient rooms.
