Studs open KIBT with a win

KAMLOOPS — The Seattle Studs have opened defence of their Kamloops International Baseball Tournament title with a 3-2 win over the Northwest Honkers.

Seattle took the lead with three unearned runs in the sixth inning and then held off the Honkers, who are also based out of Seattle.

Tonight the Kamloops Sun Devils will play their first game against the Burnaby Bulldogs.
