National Aboriginal Day celebrated in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — This is National Aboriginal Day and celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the commemoration are taking place throughout the Kamloops area.

The largest is happening this afternoon at the Tk'emlups Pow Wow Grounds.

It includes activities for children, concessions, and sports with musical performances planned for later this evening.

The celebration will culminate with a fireworks display planned for 10 o'clock.
