CHASE, B.C. — Missing Chase boy, Brooklyn has been located safe and sound.

After a 6 hour search Kamloops Search and Rescue Volunteer Manager Alan Hobler confirmed the boy had been located shortly before 7 a.m.

“It turns out that he went to a friend’s house and slept over at his friend’s house and didn’t tell anybody,” Hobler said. “Happy outcome, I’m sure his parents are a little miffed at him but aside from that I think everybody is very relieved.”

RCMP had called in search crews early this morning, June 17, to look for nine-year-old Brooklyn when he did not return home last night.
