Stabbing incident being investigated in Vernon

VERNON, B.C. — RCMP continue to investigate a stabbing incident that happened just after 10 p.m. last night in the Bella Vista area.

Officers were called to the corner of 25th Avenue and 41st Street to a complaint of a man found with multiple lacerations.

He was taken to Vernon Jubilee by ambulance, his condition unknown at this time.

His name is not being released right now.

Police continue to remain on the scene and the alley between 25th & 26th Avenues between 41st & 43rd Streets remains cordoned as they investigate.

Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact the RCMP or crimestoppers.
