KAMLOOPS — Students from Bert Edwards Elementary and five other North Shore schools came together on Friday to celebrate an Aboriginal Culture Day with First Nations from around the region.

The students got their chance to play with the drums and sing along to some fun Aboriginal music. The day’s an opportunity for the kids to have fun and learn about the Aboriginal culture. Many of the students today enjoyed learning about the teepee.

More than just having fun, the fourth annual Aboriginal Cultural Day at Bert Edwards is all about inclusivity.
