Norkam girls embrace rugby

KAMLOOPS — It’s been said that “rugby is a hooligan’s game, played by gentlemen.”

But since the late 1990’s more and more females have been drawn to the sport.

With the B.C. girls provincial rugby championship taking place in Kamloops, Adam Donnelly went to the pitch to check out the action, and find out just what draws these young ladies to a “hooligan’s game.”
