Venom 2-and-0 to start TOJLL season

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Venom (2-0) scored 7 goals in the third period as they pounded the Kelowna Raiders (0-2) for the second consecutive week, last night (Thursday) 15-3 in Kelowna after beating on the Raiders 12-4 last weekend in Kamloops.

The Venom held period leads of 5-2 and 8-3 on Thursday.

Riley Peterson lead the way with 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points on the road. Riley Lawryk potted 3 goals along with 3 assists. Kienan Campbell and Pay Beatty-Smith each scored 1 goal and 3 assists. Tyler Seabrooke and Brendan Bickert both had 1 goal and 1 assist. Kolby Pauwels, Colton Boomer and Riley Polacik each scored 1 goal. 

Derek Rockvam added 2 assists. Ryan Emery, Brady Georget and Erik Bunce earned 1 assist each for the visitors.
