Former Blazer Orr retires

KAMLOOPS — Former Blazer and NHL tough Guy Colton Orr is retiring after a 13-year pro hockey career.

Orr played in 477 NHL games with Boston, the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 34-year old Winnipeg native scored 12 goals and 24 points while accumulating 1186 minutes in penalties in the NHL.

He played in 10 games this season with the Calgary Flames American Hockey League farm team.

Orr played in 45 games with the Blazers over parts of three seasons from 2000 to 2003.
