Quesnel woman protesting lengthy hospital wait time

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — A Quesnel woman is protesting today at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

She will not to leave hospital property until her problem is resolved or she’s carried out of the facility.

Denise Tessier is in constant pain from a damaged knee and faces a two-year wait for surgery, but has now been told that wait could be as long as three-and-a-half years.
