Barriere family of four now reported located by family friends

BARRIERE, B.C. — The search for a Barriere mother and her three children has come to a happy ending.

Just before 5 o’clock a family friend of Angela Clarke – and Barriere Search and Rescue reported the family’s vehicle got stuck in snow but that all four are safe and accounted for – after spending the night in a remote cabin.

However, RCMP haven’t confirmed that information and say they haven’t spoken to the family. 36-year old Angela Clarke her 12-year old daughter Nadia – 10-year old daughter Mckayah – and 9-year old son Brodie reportedly headed out on a cycling trip to East Barriere lake on Saturday.

They were expected to return that same afternoon, but never did. Today police located the family’s car near East Barriere lake.
