Fatal crash on the North Shore

KAMLOOPS — One man is dead and another is in hospital after an early morning car crash. 

Kamloops City RCMP were called to a single vehicle accident on Schubert Dr. between Spruce Ave. and Juniper Ave. around 3:15 this morning. 

A 1992 Ford Explorer went off the road, through a fence, and crashed into trees. 

The Jaws of Life were used to get the occupants out of the vehicle. 

One man, who police are trying to identify, died at the scene. A 25-year-old man was taken to Royal Inland Hospital in stable condition.
