Two men charged in Vernon home invasion

VERNON, B.C. — Two men arrested following a home invasion in Vernon last month have now been charged.

Gregory Jolicoeur and Maurice Perrier are facing numerous counts including  break and enter, forcible confinement, dangerous driving and possession of stolen property.

Police said an 83-year old man was tied to a chair in his home and two robbers fled in a recreational vehicle taking a number of items with them.

The elderly man was able to free himself and call police.
