Power Rangers street closures coming to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — The Power Rangers will be taking over several areas next week, including downtown Kamloops, causing some traffic disruptions.

Streets will be closing intermittently, depending on where film crews are working.

Gay Pooler with the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association says pedestrians will be allowed downtown during most of the filming process.

“People will be able to come down and see what is going on, watch filming in action. They just might not be able to walk down a specific street at a specific time; they may be held up for a few minutes,” said Pooler.

Pooler says filming will bring a lot of business to downtown Kamloops.

Filming in the downtown area will take place from April 13 to 22.

The City of Kamloops has also announced several other road closures, and they can be viewed here.
