MISSION, B.C. — Homicide investigators have been called to Mission, B.C., east of Vancouver.

A release from Mission RCMP says a person driving on a forest service road in the Fraser Valley on Tuesday evening reported the discovery of human remains.

Mission RCMP Sgt. Sean Wright says the detachment alerted the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team to probe the suspicious death.

Evidence is being gathered and Wright says detectives expect to remain at the scene for some time.
