KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops RCMP detachment wants to know how you think it should be prioritizing its work in the community.

The detachment has scheduled a pair of public forums to that end next month.

Corporal Cheryl Bush says the feedback gathered will influence how Kamloops RCMP officers work on a day-to-day basis.

“A large part of our strategic planning is based on statistics of the different crime types that we see in our city.” said Bush, adding “we do like to like to engage the community and hear what areas of concern they have, and see how we can address that in our planning.”
