KAMLOOPS — There are 47 teams in Canadian Interuniversity Sport men's basketball.

They play in four leagues ---- Canada West, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic.

Every year the goal of every one of those 47 teams is to get to the CIS championship.

Only eight do.

This year, for the first time, the TRU WolfPack are one of the eight ---- qualifying last weekend through the Canada West final four.

It's a big deal ----- one that's being banked on to once again put national attention on Kamloops, Thompson Rivers University and the sports programs at TRU.
