KAMLOOPS — Another set of open houses focused on the proposed KGHM-Ajax copper-gold mine kicks off this afternoon (March 15).

This pair of meetings is drop-in style, without set times for presentations.

Environmental Assessment Office Project Manager Tracy James says it's designed not to be intimidating to lay people.

"There are poster boards that give a summary of each of the topics, so bite size chunks of all the various aspects of the applications, beside each of those poster boards there will also be someone to talk to," said James.

Both today's and tomorrow's open houses will be held from 2pm to 8pm at the Coast Kamloops Convention Centre.
