Donations pouring in at SPCA for Skitter B

KAMLOOPS — Skitter B, the young cat who was brought to the SPCA last weekend with severe injuries, is still recovering at a local veterinarian hospital in Aberdeen, but people are stepping forward to help the abused cat.

The Kamloops SPCA has received about $4,000 in donations from the public in the past week since skitter b was dropped off last weekend. 

He is dealing with two broken vertebrae and nerve damage in his tail, pointing to some form of animal abuse. Skitter B still needs a cathedar to urinate.

The black cat may need more operations, including the likely amputation of his tail, and the Kamloops SPCA says more donations are welcome. You drop money off at its location on 8th Street on the North Shore or simply call 250-376-7722.
