Victim identified in fatal Enderby crash

ENDERBY, B.C. — The BC Coroners Service has released the name of a local woman who died in a crash near Enderby earlier this week.

59 year old Marilyn Cynthia Martynuik of Armstrong was the driver and lone occupant of a car that collided with a pickup truck on Highway 97A north of Enderby Tuesday morning.

Martynuik died at the scene.

Two people in the truck suffered non-fatal injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Coroners Service and RCMP.
