KAMLOOPS — Even after ratifying a new contract with Thompson Rivers University earlier this month, it's clear the school's faculty still has an axe to grind.

TRUFA is running an online meme contest, challenging participants to submit images that poke fun at the university.

TRUFA President Tom Friedman says, despite the cutting, satirical nature of the memes, the faculty still has serious concerns about the relationship with administration.

"In the mediator's recommendations that both parties accepted, there is going to be a joint committee looking at some of theses issues, and this is partially blowing off steam, but also underlying it is serious concerns that we want administration to take seriously." said Friedman

TRU's Vice President of Advancement Christopher Seguin issued the following statment to CFJC Today "Despite the negative agendas expressed through the TRUFA twitter feed, we are working with all of our stakeholders to build better relationships and a stronger sense of teamwork in the service of our students and their communities."
