Enderby crash claims woman's life

ENDERBY, B.C. — A two vehicle crash 3 km. north of Enderby around 7 am this (Tuesday) morning has turned into a fatality.

North Okanagan RCMP confirm a woman driving a car that collided with a truck has died from injuries she sustained in the crash.

Two men in the truck were taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident near North Enderby Timber Ltd. closed one lane of Highway 97A for roughly 4 hours.

The woman's name, age and hometown have not been released because next of kin have not been contacted yet.

There is still no word on what caused the collision.
