KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Airport is seeing the scale of passenger traffic increases it hasn’t seen since Westjet landed in the city eight years ago.

The airport saw more than 31-thousand travelers pass through last month, a 10 per cent increase over January of 2015.

Manager Fred Legace says tourist traffic is driving the increase.
