Targeted shooting in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — A woman is in hospital in serious but stable condition following a targeted shooting in the Moore’s Meadow Park area early this morning.

Just after 5am the road was closed between 1st Avenue and Foothills Bridge, while police to secured the crime scene. 

The road is now open to single lane alternating traffic. Police also closed Moore’s Meadow Park and expect it to be open within a couple of hours. 

RCMP say members of the public aren’t at risk.  Police are now appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area between 2 and 6 am to come forward.
