Police investigating sudden death near Hixon

HIXON, B.C. — RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating a report of a sudden death in the community of Hixon.
RCMP were called to the scene around 6am, February 1.
The body of an adult female was found near Hixon Creek Road, with no obvious signs of foul play.
As a precaution, the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Section have been called in to assist with the investigation.
