Kelly Scott steals first at the B.C. Scotties

KAMLOOPS — The Karla Thompson rink from Kamloops has finished second in the round robin at the B.C. Women’s Curling championships.

Thompson gave up a steal of one in the extra end in an 8-7 loss to Kelowna’s Kelly Scott.

Scott finishes at 6-and-1, while Thompson was 5-and-2.

They will meet again the 1 versus 2 Page Playoffs, with the winner advancing to Sunday’s final.

Diane Gushulak from Royal City will face Victoria’s Sarah Wark in the 3 versus 4 game.
