Kamloops rink undefeated at B.C. Women’s Curling championship

KAMLOOPS — The Karla Thompson rink is undefeated after three draws at the B.C. Women’s curling playdowns in Coquitlam.
Thompson won two games Wednesday, defeating Diane Gushulak 9-6 and then downing defending champion Patti Knezevic of Prince George 9-7 on a steal of two in the tenth end.
At 3-and-0 Thompson is in a tie with Kelowna’s Kelly Scott.
It’s not going as well for another Kamloops rinks.
Amanda Russett lost twice to fall to 0-and-3.
