CHILLIWACK, B.C. — RCMP in Chilliwack, B.C., say the discovery of a human fetus in the washroom of a fast food restaurant will not result in a criminal investigation.

Mounties say the matter has been turned over to the B.C. Coroners Service and that any further information must come from that office.

A customer found the remains in a Tim Hortons washroom on Saturday afternoon.

An investigation began Saturday and the coroner has not commented on the gestational age of the fetus.
