Successful 2015 campaign for Operation Red Nose

KAMLOOPS — Despite a few slower nights Operation Red Nose in Kamloops is deeming it’s 2015 campaign a huge success.

Co-ordinator Katie Klassen says ORN gave 1,211 rides over 10 nights and raised over $30,000.00.

The Kamloops service provided the most ride out of any other host communities in the province

During the 2014 campaign, ORN gave 1,265 rides and raised $29,500.00 .

Klassen says Kamloops provided the most rides out of the 12 other participating communities in B.C.

She says New Years Eve was the busiest on record with 200 rides and $5,400.00 collected.

All of the proceeds will go to amateur athletes in Kamloops.
