KAMLOOPS — Both CN Rail and the provincial Ministry of Environment are confirming a major fuel spill in the Kamloops CN railyard on Christmas Day.
According to a spokesperson for CN Rail, about 7000 litres of diesel fuel spilled during a transfer from a railcar to a contractor’s truck.
CN says the fuel was cleaned up promptly and didn’t pollute any waterways.
