KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops International Bantam Hockey Tournament begins Wednesday.

For the first time a team from Hungary will play in KIBHIT.

Last night the Hungarian team defeated the Kamloops tier two bantams 16-1 in an exhibition game.

The local bantams held their own, trailing 3-1 until midway through the second period before Hungary pulled away.

Hungary will play its first KIBIHT game Wednesday morning against Semiahmoo and then take on the Kamloops Tier One bantams that night in the official opening game.
