KAMLOOPS — For many, the sounds of Christmas include calling birds, pipers piping, and drummers drumming; if you’ve left all your shopping until the last minute, you might be hearing the steady tick tock of the clock winding down.

Before Santa hops in his sleigh and makes his way around the world,  time is running out for people who have yet to finish their Christmas shopping

Since the Christmas season officially kicked off, the mall has seen a steady increase in traffic, but with all that time leading up to the big holiday, why do so many people still leave their shopping the the final days?

According to shoppers at the mall, some like to be meticulous, while others like the adrenaline rush of last-minute gift buying. Some are there, just to lend emotional support to other shoppers.

Time really is running out for shoppers, so while many of us brave crowds for something local, or something exotic, some shoppers can't get enough.
