KAMLOOPS —  Another successful weekend as the season begins to wind down for Operations Red Nose in Kamloops.

Volunteers provided 119 rides on Friday and 172 Saturday according to coordinator Katie Klassen.

She says a lot of people were still out celebrating Friday and Saturday at Christmas parties and other functions.

She says proceeds continue to be up from last year as people give more generously to the program.

Klassen says Red Nose will be operating the evening of December 26, as well as their big night, which is New Year's Eve.

All proceeds raised from the program go to help amateur athletes in Kamloops.
